Managed to get out on Saturday for some shallow water smallie fishing, not in the big lake. Biggest were 4.10 and 4.73 lbs., which were caught on a spinnerbait and chatterbait respectively. Not a numbers day although a few more were caught but the shallow water smallie spinnerbait bite was nice. They weren't really slamming it but once hooked one no mistaken u had a smallie on!

Hi all! I am new to the forum... I am an avid fisherman or at least I like to think I am... I out on sat morning through picton bay and some of the reach... no luck trolling with everything possible. MNR was out and they said not a lot of action yet this year... marked lots of fish but nothing to be had...

Good luck everyone

I fished all day around the upper gap. The water was rough! We caught 1 walleye, 1 salmon and 2 sheephead.
