Out for 8 hrs today. Little rough.

Fished Hay Bay, Picton Bay and Adolphus Reach. Only marked a few fish. Threw everything at them. No bites.

Quite a few boats out but everyone moving around, didn't look like anyone was on fish.

Checked by the Mounties. Looking for Operator Cards, Fishing Licenses, checking live wells and Registration papers. Probably looking for booze too.

They had come down from Kingston and hadn't found anyone with fish.

Stayed out until 17:30 hoping to start marking fish but no.

Water temp is still 60.

Maybe next week.

We fished adolphoustown and picton near the ferry yesterday down to the bat cave. noting.. marked fish in all depths but not a bite.Guess its too early...

Hello my brother and I were there as well same exact area. We also got checked by the MNR, didn't have my boat Reg. They let me off but reminded me of the $300 fine next time. We marked all kinds and different depths. Caught 1 Sheephead lol. This is the second time out this year. Non stop trolling for 6 hours and nothing makes me wonder about this place is worth the 3 hour drive. I'm new to this area and have yet to catch a walleye. I'm stubborn and heck so I won't give up trying but need to learn where and how and probably most important when.
Just joined this Forum seems very informative.

Been fishing the Ivy lea area of the St Lawrence no big number days but getting a few from 5lbs to 9lbs Walleye. never skunked have the smallies also hitting.
Still waiting for Picton area to start up good back up area.

Stomper Quinte is definitely worth the drive!!! Just too early for consistent fishing, plus a lot of water to fish. I don't start making the drive down to Quinte from Smiths Falls area until mid-November usually and fish until water freezes.

Any tips for fishing walleye in the Ivy Lea area? Never fished that area of the St. Lawrence. Looking to get out for some eyes in the near future before I start hauling the boat down to Quinte.

Any tips for fishing walleye in the Ivy Lea area? Never fished that area of the St. Lawrence. Looking to get out for some eyes in the near future before I start hauling the boat down to Quinte.

Been around Otty island and Huklberry island, fishing the bottom side of the current at Hukleberry small trench from red marker trolling up current until you pass the island and keep going to wood dock then repeat.
North side of Otty just troll through the narrow on the left side up stream.
Berckly Flicker shad with 1/2 ounce snap weight been working well.
No numbers but two on the first few passes then nothing at each spot LOL Just turned the gps purple for the next 60min but have caught on each visit.
