I am new to this forum and just wanted to say hello to everyone and thank you for a lot of valuable information I have been reading. I have been up to Picton this year twice and as mentioned in an earlier reply that I have yet to catch my first Walleye. Sooner or later I will get one and until then I won't give up lol. Both times I have been to Picton I have launched my small 16' boat at Glenora Marina with the only problem that it's very steep and there's a pretty big boulder that the trailer wheels have to go over and gets wedged. Not easy on the transmission. Can anyone recommend another launch site in similar area that has parking and is a bit easier to launch and also that may be open into December?
Thank you for any suggestions.
Cheers

I'm not sure where you're coming from but if you don't mind a bit of drive use the park at united empire loyalist on 33hwy, its a decent ramp with no dock right now.. Wear rubber boots and you're good. Just watch for the rock pile just out from the ramp on the east side...It put you out just to the east of the ferry on the adolphoustown side...

Are you saying you launched at glenora marina or the ferry? There's a launch at the ferry on the east side that is good. It's steep but a steel grate so smooth to pull out. I launch my 19' there often.

Could also launch right in Picton harbour which is the best ramp in the area
