Tim, this isn't one of those marriage deals where you have to go quilting now is it. Hehe. I have a Clam Nanook. I'm happy with it

I have had a clam nanook for 8-9 years. It has served me well over that time, but really want to upgrade to a thermal hut with square aluminium tubes ( looking at otter models ) . One of the issues my clam has is the steel poles have gotten rust on a couple of them making it harder to slide ( some paraffin wax will help or sanding ) , plus I have bent a couple fishing in really high winds . Getting one with sliding seats would be a good feature so you can adjust where you are sitting.

Every once in awhile I put a lil spray lubricant on a rag and wipe all my poles so they slide well and don't rust

Also quite high on Clam's Nanook. Ours is six years old, and holding up extremely well.

Granted, the last two years we've dealt with THIN ice up at the North end of The Bay, but it already begins to look like this Season may be much better... he said hopefully.~

Cheers, Wordpecker

If you have the bills, check out Otter. I picked up the 1200XT cabin w/2 swivel, sliding seats and fully insulated. Really impressed with the quality in these, but pricey.

I have used frabill two man and very good hut but you will need a machine to move it around as they are heavey once loaded with gear and they really get tough pulling through messy conditions.we had a double walking harness setup and ill tell you some days i was going to build a smitty for it.lots of room in them and you can share electronics and heat.

I have rapala Sherpa 2 man ice hut. I haven’t used it as much as I would like, but I’m Pleased with it , pretty roomy, the hut’s storage bag is easy to carry around with backpack a like straps. Or toss it in sled and haul. Sold at Canadian tire.

Hey Tim..not sure if you saw mine last year but I have the Clam Guide. Its about 12yrs old now and holding up. Only thing is that now its a bit heavy for me..even with the smitty sled so been looking into a machine...or a one man hut. gotta wait till after christmas though. lol. Im sure the first trek out in deep snow will make up my mind!!
