They come on sale at Canadian tire every couple of months for about half price. If you can wait watch the sales!

If you can wait I'd watch Canadian Tire. If you haven't done it, you can create an account and put the item your interested in the sale watch list. You'll get an email two days before the sale starts.
If you want it now, you might look at Marine Outfitters. They're located on 33 Hwy at Collins Bay Rd. Kingston.
Great people to deal with. Will order items in. Also has a good online shopping site. I buy all my fittings there. Their stainless steel fasteners are the cheapest around.
They can order Mustang MS185 Floater Suits in all the sizes. Current catalog price is $418.99. They may have one you can try on.
https://www.marineoutfitters.ca
Hope this helps.
Good luck.

The Fladen suits look real good. Thinking about use in a boat. Are they approved for use as a flotation devise in Canada. I couldn't find anything online saying whether they were or not.

Thanks

There isn't an officer that is going to write you a ticket for wearing a survival suit. In exceeds all USA requirements even though it's not us coast guard approved.

Can also check the UK tackle sites for the Fladen suit I've seen them for as low as 75.00lbs (about 130$ cad) I contacted one of them it was around 75$ cad to ship to Ontario so they're pretty reasonable I like them cause they come in 2 pc

I've been looking at the striker ice suits. They are a 2 piece suit and not coast guard approved but they do float. YouTube has a couple vids on them

I have a Striker Ice climate, nice and warm and has 2 removable liners, sometimes too warm but have never been wet even sitting in the rain...Bought it 2 years ago, biggest issue is it has too many pockets and things go missing.....lol

It's a good looking suit, I've never seen them before. Is it a floater? No chance that I would pay 500 for it.
