Boudreau, Joe (Joseph) Augustus. It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Joe, after a brief illness. Joe passed away peacefully and comfortably on December 19, 2017 at KGH. He was 72. Joe’s love of life, humour, music, fishing/hunting and people, were well known. He was an incredible husband, father, grandfather and friend. He leaves behind his loving wife of 26 years, Susan (Byers); daughter Rochelle (Matthew); son Kevin (Elizabeth) and his 2 granddaughters Amelia and Charlotte; brother Pat(Linda); sister Janet (Randy); many nieces/nephews and great nieces/nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Clara and Amable Boudreau. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (UHKF) for the Interstitial Lung Disease Program at KHSC would be greatly appreciated. Online gifts can be made at https://give.uhkf.ca/donate . Under designation: put KHSC; under additional info put in the comment section: gift is in memory of Joseph Boudreau for the Interstitial Lung Disease Program; Gifts can be made by phone by calling UHKF at 613-549-5452 or, if you’d prefer to make a memorial gift by mail, please send your cheque, payable to UHKF, with a note saying the gift is in memory of Joseph Boudreau for the Interstitial Lung Disease Program, and mail it to: University Hospitals Kingston Foundation, 55 Rideau Street, Unit 4, Kingston, Ontario K7K 2Z8. In respecting Joe’s wishes, there will be no service.

My condolences to you Susan and family. I always enjoyed chatting with him be it on the dock while I was out bass fishing or here on the board. He will be missed.
