Got up to the bay this weekend, No one wants too do a report so I will. I don't think anyone has been out on the bay that's why there has been no reports. I fished Hay Bay all weekend, there is 2-3 ft of snow on top of the Ice, So the Ice isn't growing as much with that snow on the ice obviously. I got out to 20 F.O.W because it took me about 30 mins to get that far and I didn't want to go further because I was on foot, and with 3 ft of snow you can imagine how the walk is out there,(not fun). I will confirm, that there is 5 Inches of black Ice where i was in 20 f.o.w. I can also confirm that huffs has about 5 inches also in 25 f.o.w but in some spots there are 2-3 inches because of the current. If anyone is going out to huffs if you do not know the water well, use you're spud every so often, i've been on huffs before where i've had 8 inches of ice and walk 50 feet another way and there be 5 inches in some spots. Next weeks weather is -20 -30 all week, that will make the ice grow even more and by the end of this week should be able to take machines out too some spots(thank god) just reminds me of how appreciative I am to own a machine so i don't have too walk. i don't know how I use to do it back in the day walking everywere, I feel for the guys that still have to do this. take care guys the Ice will only get better from here on end. Let the games begin!!!!!

Just took a drive around Deseronto, Telegraph Narrows and Long Reach. Lots of wet spots. Deseronto and the Narrows are really wet. The reach isn't as bad but still looks really wet.
Going to have to very careful going out.
Might try Wednesday.

Oh, Forgot too add. Got 1 small walleye, rest were perch. but as I said , I could only get too 20 f.o.w marked lots of fish, were just a bit shy, but like i said earlier conditions are bad so i only got out for a few hours each day didn't get much fishing done at all unfortunately. The next time I go to quinte, I will be bringing the machines. No walking for this guy anymore this winter, that was enough for me :P

The walk in this snow is brutal. Where in Hay Bay did you go out from? I love fishing at Sharmans
