Quick post

My sled went for a crap tonight. Fishing off of big island. Have all our gear to spend the night so that’s not an issue. But need help getting the machine off the ice. It’s a VK so she’s heavy 700lbs.

Please message if you can lend a hand possibly tonight but most likely tomorrow. Or when ever.

Thanks

Why don't you get off the ice even if you have to call authorities for help? These temps are nothing to play with. You can get the sled tomorrow. Give the authorities your gps location when you call. Download an app to get the coordinates if you need to.

Well hopefully all turns out well. Dark, early season ice, and brutal temps are a bad combination. Be careful yourself munkeynuts.

Hey guys.

Only have my phone with me to be able to communicate. Long story short. We always stay the night out here, crazy or not I’ve been doing it for years. We were the 2 huts sitting out here last night as well.

As for help. I’m so appreciative of anyone able to lend a hand, I only mentionedntomorrow due to the thought of it being late and I’d be here anyway.

Munkynuts if your able to help I will take you up 100% on thats. Your pm sent nothing came thru so I didn’t have anything to go on. Told my buddy we will have to address it in the morning.

416-574-9593

Current coordinates

44-8.256N
77-15.292W

Approximately 1km off the shore of wagers farm.

I’ll take you up on the tow munkynuys. Please call or text me.

Thanks.

Hey guys

Got ahold of munkynuts.

He’s coming here in the morning to help us out.

Appreciate the concern. Helps me sleep easier out here tonight knowing we have a resolve in the morning.

Goes to show this board has some really good people on it.

As for the fishing. Long story short. We’ve been out on the ice since Thursday at noon. Regardless of the machine break down we weren’t planning on leaving until tomorrow afternoon.

Fish count so far ....................

Pictures to follow

Anyone out by big island with a machine willing to help we would appreciate it.

Alex came out but his machine doesn’t have enough power to pull this beast. Need minimum 1 more sled or atv.

Any help would be appreciated.

Please text if you can.

I don't know a lot about sleds, but do you need to pull the belt off to make it pull easier? ( it may be a dumb question , or it may help )
