That is serious no matter where you go, no safe ice with this winter`s weather.

What kind of tip do you want? What are you looking for? Like hello buddy, the ice will chance over night and the fish have tails they swim. Buckshots, little Cleo, champs jigging raps and bottle caps all work
Jig fast jig slow pause it's a different day there moods change. If you're a fisherman you need to do what's needed to crack the code! Over to you captain!

Sorry but you were asking for tips and you were being smart by calling me captain obvious so you got tip tip #2 3 and 4 To be honest spud your way and take your time and use your own judgement. I take my son on early ice and he wears a life jacket and I teach him the basics of reading ice. Someday I truly believe my son will be a ice fisherman not for what he catches but for what he's been taught about ice safety. So that being said spud your way out you will be fine get into 15 to 18 feet. There should be some eyes And perch there.

Lots of nice people on here this forum has proved useful in many cases. However there are a bunch of knobby characters in the mix like when a "maday" post has a hundred views and no replies lol. I guess they're looking for a new knob to put up on the welcome to quinte signs of the highway they could be scouting this forum for possible candidates

Yawn... the ice police in full force on this board... best just not to report anything except for soft water.

I don’t get why everyone is getting butt hurt. Guy asks for ice tips and gets told to take a spud and check it in a high current area......then gets told he’s being a dick?? Too funny
