Quinte Fishing

I am about to head out to County Shores with the kids but I have heard the wind howling all morning and wondered, with the warm weather and this wind, is there a chance for pressure cracks and possible open spots??

Probably not. Why don’t you go check it out first with a spud before getting the kids out. Last week with the rain, some old holes opened up but I doubt the little warmup will do anything

Thanks, I will do that. I just didn’t want to make the 40 minute trek only to have to come home again. You know kids!!

Any updates on County Shores ? Might head out there tomorrow AM or any suggestions on where I should hit ??Went off Point Anne yesterday put in 8hrs with no succes Nice black ice 8-10” no fish though

I was out on Saturday all day, 7 inches of solid ice but it was warm and it rained as i was packing up so im not sure what that did to the ice but i imagine it stayed fairly solid. Best bet would be to give them a call beforehand, theyr pretty helpful and informative!
