I wish that weather buoy was online today as I'm curious to see what the wave heights would of been.
Unfortunately its offline. I scouted around to see if any other buoys were up and running but not yet.
In the past when we've had windy days like today I have seen some insane wave heights posted. BTW this is a great link for anybody planning on fishing the big lake as it shows you the current conditions as well as the last 24hr history. You can see if waves are building or falling, direction, speed, temp etc.. This particular buoy is located off Prince Edward Point. http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=45135

Great pictures.

We checked out Loyalist Park. Big waves. Couldn't get a good picture. It was impressive, but nothing like yours.

MTO site shows the Glenora Ferry out of service. Couldn't find anything on the Amherstview Ferry. Hard to imagine it's running.
