I buddy of mine and I made our annual trip to very small inland lake for the bass opener. Lake is on private property in the Westport area. It receives almost no fishing pressure. As far as I know we are the only ones that fish it and that is once per year. In 2.5 hours we boated 57 largemouth. Many were 2 to 3 lbs.. Not big but a lot of fun on light tackle. We kept few for the frying pan and the rest were released. In many cases when we were fighting a fish and there were be 4 or 5 others following. In one case I caught two bass at the same time on a single crank bait.

Awesome. I used to fish one behind my house on an unopened road allowance . Could launch a 14' tinny right on the flooded road. Exact same conditions though, while reeling one 3 lber in you would have 3-5 chasing it. It was an awesome spot until they drained the damn.
