Do people use a gas treatment on a regular bases or just before winter storage?
Which brands are you using?
There are so many on the shelves.

Thanks in advance.

Stabil Ethanol treatment (marine) blue product in every tank of fuel though out the summer. Stabil winter fuel stabilizer every fall/winter in a full tank of gas

I burn premium fuel, I do use Seafoam every second tank. Don't use Stabil as my boat doesn't sit around much. Seafoam is an excellent engine treatment.

Call me crazy? I never use gas treatment.
I run 75hp Mercury 2 stroke on my 17 foot. Always use Mercury 2 stroke oil and I always run premium gas, 94 octane.

Seafoam for me too. Some jerk I know told me to use it all the time. I listened because he’s old and cranky.

Lucas Oil Fuel Treatment. I give it a couple of good shots every time I put gas in the boat. Also nothing but high test from ultramar or shell (only ones that I know of without ethanol)

Sea foam goes in half way through my season with reg gas all summer. Late fall I switch to premium gas and make sure another can goes in each tank before I winterize. Keeps things clean.

seafoam all year, 32 yr old 40HP thats still going strong. At $12 a bottle it isnt cheap but one trip to the marina for a carb cleaning will cost you 20x that not to mention potentially weeks off the water in the busy season.

This is a bit off topic but as far as Seafoam goes, I bought an old beater gas lawnmower 4 or 5 years ago and I'm still using the same gas that's 4 or 5 years old with Seafoam in it. That old lawnmower still starts first or second pull. Sits outside all winter, same spark plug, probably condensation in the gas can etc... No problem!!!!
