Went out around 8:00. Tried the weeds in Hay Bay. Lots of loose weeds floating on the surface tangling my line. Water is real cloudy with algae. A small bass. Too hard to fish with the tangles.

Headed for Mallery Bay. Lots of boats. Still some floating weeds but much better than Hay Bay. Didn't see much action. Tried the weeds for a couple of hours. One small sheephead. Nothing else.

Marked fish near the red bouy at 15 ft in 20 ft of water but no takers. Tried the west shore of Long Reach. Marked some fish but no bites.

Tired worm harness, Shad Rap, Reef Runner and jigging.

Finished at 4:00. First trip with no fish. Day after the storm and a north east wind. Pretty hot.

Thanks for the report, boards been pretty dead lately..Seen couple bass boys out pre fishing for tournament here in narrows yesterday, must of had some luck because they were back in same spot today. Ive noticed the floating weeds are getting pretty bad in this area as well..Goin out shortly to give it a go if rain holds off that is ..

Went out Tuesday and Wednesday on the west side of the bay in Trenton, and the bass bite seems to be back on. Caught a 5lb smallie and a 4lb large on Tuesday, and we ended up pulling another large on Wednesday. Only one walleye though.

Was at the light house bayside Wednesday got 3 nice walleye while letting kids troll with mepps and worms for fun.
