There was a post that had the various access points marked out on a map. Does anyone have that saved?

I couldn't access the link to access points on the lake on the original post , is it just me, or is anyone else having problems accessing the link from the old post . Help please.

Opened OK for me, had to wait for it to load.

A couple of the spots should have some information updates. Hate to see someone make a long drive and not get access.

Green Point- The point is all private property so it looks like an ATV ride from Deseronto is being suggested. The ice around Deseronto can be extremely risky. Especially around Foresters Island and towards the Skyway Bridge.

Huff's- The parking is on the ice, in the field for $5.00 or on Hay Bay North Shore Road, the fine for parking on Huff's Rd. is $50.00 and enforced regularly.

Thompson's Point- not aware of any access off 3rd Concession Rd. or Thompson's Point Rd. that isn't private property.

Not sure about the other locations.

As always, parking on a road in a manner that interferes with traffic or snow removal is a tag and tow offence. Signs are not required. Officers discretion.

There is a public launch on 3rd concession rd with quite a bit of parking.
Theres no dock so doesnt see much use in the summer but lots of people use it in the winter.

Checked out the 3rd Concession launch yesterday, nice little spot. Long hike to get to deeper water.

I have gone onto to the ice from 3rd concession launch many times. There is a good sized parking lot but the lot is never (or very seldom) plowed. I find it ok with my 4WD Subaru but be careful if you have 2WD and there is a lot of recent deep snow.

If you want to fish the deeper water (30 FOW) from Thompsons to Shermans, it's about a 1 km slog from the 3rd concession launch (south shore) and closer to a 2 km slog from the Sherman's Launch (north Shore).

Be careful out there, the ice will be thicker early near the Church or right in front of the Shermans point launch but there is more current and thinner ice as you go further west approach within a km. of Long Reach.
