I'm going to try to make it out there this weekend. Apparently the ice is thin where the Clare River flows into it on the East side and there is pressure crack down the middle of the lake (not sure what direction it runs). I'm not sure how thick the rest of the ice is but it was plenty thick last week in Cosy Cove. We've had some warm weather since then unfortunately

Where do people catch crappies through the winter? I see one large deep basin basically in the middle of the lake but according to Navionics, it's about 30'. I don't imagine fish would live release very well through those depths? I have never targeted crappie so if anyone has any tips for me, I'd appreciate it! PMs are very welcome
