Anyone fishing off Big Island today?Looking for report on ice conditions.Staying at Baycrest next weekend.Thanks in advance.

I wondered around a fair bit (mostly a bit west of Baycrest) this weekend and while I didn't measure the ice - I didn't find anything that could be considered sketchy, but it's Bay of Quinte so take all of the necessary precautions. There were a few ATV's out in the area I was in.

Hi Chuck , you say that ATV's were out on the ice already in that area ?? Must be making some iced over there ,last week there was around 4 inches on Wednesday.

There were, but again, it's Quinte. If I owned one it would have been parked on shore but I guess everyone has their own comfort level. I didn't measure but I would guess it wasn't more than 5".
