Been out maybe 5 or 6 times this year and done fairly well. Been noticing late morning to mid day has been the best time for us. Early afternoon as well. Not your textbook quinte times of early morning and late afternoon. Is this just me ? Lol

don't know whats so weird about it lol...……. I would say 90% of the biggest and best fish ive ever caught on BOQ have come mid day no rhyme, no reason, just its always been that way have you ever noticed the non stop flood of guys in the morning drilling holes. then late day same thing with guys who like to fish evenings when do you think its the quiet time? I would agree that a first light bite, or a last hour of the day bite is a productive time to be fishing but to me nothing beats a mid day fish if your hoping to catch a true pig on BOQ

Yeah grizzly I’d agree on that too. I have caught some of my biggest hogs mid day but I’m talking just in general. Like not even getting bit past 4 in the afternoon sometimes while still marking lots of fish. And same thing early morning.

It's funny you mention this because I have been noticing the same thing. think it was last weekend went out early and my buddies both popped fish within minutes of setting up at 2pm

Plus it doesn't hurt that midday is also the warmest time of the day. Makes it a little more pleasant of a fish :P
