Could it be a temperature or oil issue? Does your motor have a safety thing that would shut if off if it gets to hot or is low in oil?

That would have been my suggestion too. I had similar problems. The motor thought there was no oil being injected so it would go into safe mode and shut down. A sensor had to be replaced. It was a Merc. Hope you get it sorted out.

Houston we have a problem!

Lets hope this does not affect you in the Classic. Let alone the May Walleye tourny. I would assume it is probally a sensor or electrical problem. What I would do is take it where you did the rebuild and have them look it over because something could have bounced loose.

If your planning on fishing in the big water this season you should get this looked at. I don't think it would be something minor that one could fix at home.

hi rocket my buddy had the same problem a couple of years ago,he thought it was electrical ,so he bruoght it to a marina and it was only a kink in the fuel line ,i hope its not major and good luck.

Ya it happened to me bud. Any alarms from your control box? Does it have the alarms hooked up still (it's still EFI?...not a carb p/head?) What R's do u get up to before it quits?

that happen to me replaced the coils and now everything is fine but very expensive and that's the bad news
but your retirement check will handle that

I had that problem too, fixed it by replacing the ignition in the dash. Cost about $30 for the ignition and $ 2 to get a new spare key cut. Hope this helps.
