Been finding the bite times for the evening very short. Like a half hour window where they are coming in and then gone. Has anyone else noticed this? Has anyone been having better luck in the mornings?

Haven’t been out in a few days, but was definitely noticing that. Was finding early afternoon 3-4 really good then after that not very good at all. Everybody has different luck though and on the quinte nothing is ever a for sure lol

The times I fished Huff's it was like someone flipped a switch turning the fish on. There would be hours of staring at a blank screen and then it would be crazy.
You could literally catch a fish as fast as you could reel one in, rebait and throw your lure back down the hole. There were lots of times you wouldn't feel the tug of the lure because a walleye had caught it on the way down. If you were quick, you could catch a half dozen or so and then it was over.
There were long and short bite windows. A long window might be an hour and a bit. A short one might be a half hour. Most started about 4:15-4:30
Then nothing. The screen was blank.
It was like someone turn the switch off.
I use to set up at 3:00 and be done by 5:30.
This year it looks like the window has moved.
Sure would like to know where these fish are coming from and where they're going.
