The times I fished Huff's it was like someone flipped a switch turning the fish on. There would be hours of staring at a blank screen and then it would be crazy. You could literally catch a fish as fast as you could reel one in, rebait and throw your lure back down the hole. There were lots of times you wouldn't feel the tug of the lure because a walleye had caught it on the way down. If you were quick, you could catch a half dozen or so and then it was over. There were long and short bite windows. A long window might be an hour and a bit. A short one might be a half hour. Most started about 4:15-4:30 Then nothing. The screen was blank. It was like someone turn the switch off. I use to set up at 3:00 and be done by 5:30. This year it looks like the window has moved. Sure would like to know where these fish are coming from and where they're going.
