I think we ask this every year but when is the last day of ice fishing? Can you fish Walleye on Friday March 1? Also my Dad is over 65 and doesn’t need a lisence to fish but we can’t find anywhere how many fish he’s allowed to keep. Does anyone know?

I'd double check that info given above. I'm pretty sure if you're over 65 you are deemed to have a Sport fishing licence, and I'm also pretty sure you can fish on March 1st for walleye till midnight. Google Zone 20 regs and look for open seasons and licence info….

Some Ontario and Canadian residents
qualify to use other documents instead of
purchasing and carrying an Outdoors Card
and Recreational Fishing Licence. Catch
and possession limits for a Sport Fishing
Licence apply in these situations. A person
listed below may engage in fishing provided
that they carry a licence, permit, certificate
or identification card issued by a federal,
provincial or territorial government of
Canada that indicates their name and date of
birth, and meet the following criteria:
1. Individuals who are under 18 or 65 years
of age or older.
