When i went by Port Hope this late afternoon there were probably 35 people fishing below the train tracks.

It must mean something to attract all those fishermen.

Stopped by the Ganny yesterday on my way to the cottage, lots of people fishing, and fish being caught. There is only a small area that can be fished on the west side of the river due to construction work. I imagine it will be cheek to cheek this weekend.

Shelter valley is 100 percent private property unless you pay to fish at the campground plus it's not open there till the 4th Saturday in April of only west of cobourg can you fish up to the first set of train tracks till the 3th Saturday in april aswell
