Les Boys spent the week at Queen's U at the SEEDS Program(for High Schoolers) and we mad our way to Hay Bay Friday night. Out to fish on Saturday and Grandad picked the first after ten minutes on a Chartreuse Uzick.
We fished all morning with little results( little meaning perch ), changed locations and Albert had a strike, not big but bigger than a perch - a BULLHEAD. The first he has ever caught, he learned how to hold it and flipped it over the side. Moviing along the shorline, William hooked and landed a 14 inch walleye, which was released.
As we made our way along, Albert's rod hung while we turned and then there was a fish on, it pulled hard but came to the surface and we saw MR Pike.... which had a bad ulcer on it's side, a nice 28 incher, which was released. We're into a bunch of fish now....
As we were winding down, Albert's rod bent over with a nice 18incher, both eyes for the table. Another one on the Orange Uzick
Back to shore for a quiet afternoon followed by a fish fry, life doesn't get much better......
Here's the results of the days fishing.
Looking forward to the next visit of Grandson's later in June - Stay Tuned
