Quinte Fishing

Wasn't going to fish but was convinced.c by PerfectlyPat to go and give it try.

So we fished the middle of Hay Bay, right by our place. Seversl boats trolling around but o nets, until She says Fish ON!!

It pulled hard and took drag and she brought it to the net, a real nice 18incher, which will be better on the table. She was using an Orange Uzick....

I was trolling a Thin Fin Shad for an hour but switched to the Uzick and right away, hit a 14 incher. We trolled around the shoals for a couple hours with a final count of 6 landed walleyes, an 18 and a 17 incher. No one else landed anything.

They're there but seem to be tougher than usual.

I fished the weedbed at the church yesterday and noticed a lot of schools of shad surfacing.

Fished Long Reach on Fathers Day Morning, marked lots of fish high low and in between. Managed to boat a couple 18” and 22” suspended up high over deep water on silver Uzick’s.
