6 of us met at Pt. Anne this morning for the clean up. We filled 2 trailers. There were what looks to be 2-3 separate dumps of garbage. Mattress, couch, renovation materials and garbage. After everything was clean we went looking for the property owner, Bob Mcdonald, and let him know that everything was cleaned up. Really nice guy and he thanked us and said he would tell the cement plant to cancel placing large boulders across the access and that trail camera's are going up. We were about to lose it!
A number of folks sent donations to cover the dump fees for the garbage and super big short out to Hal at Belleville Starter for sending $100.00.
It only take a few bad apples to spoil the bunch and so please if you're out there take a moment and pick up any garbage. Property owner is near done with allowing the public access.

Nice going fellows. A big tip of the hat to Bob as well. Pretty generous of him considering the headaches he has had to put up with.

Do not use this launch myself but in the past I have walked out from there to ice fish. Thanks to you and the others Dan. I had to work myself that day. Shoot me an e-addy and I will contribute to the cost for the dumping fees.

What a great story! Well done guys for cleaning up a mess left by someone else. A question I had was who is the owner of land at the boat launch. My friends who live in Point Ann tell me the cement plant still owns the property so was wondering if someone knew for sure???
