I usually take 4 rods out at a time, especially when casting to shore in a good breeze or jigging. Nothing sucks more then snagging on bottom or close to shore when the bite is hot and having to stop for a few seconds to open up boxes and retie tackle on and still stay aware of your surroundings. Even worse is head down in the boat, trying to see the knot you are tying and hearing GET THE NET!!! , knowing you don't even have a line in the water at the time.

I’m always ready for either Bass or Walleye. Usually 12 or more rods and 20 Plano boxes. I end up using 6 of the rods and maybe a dozen or so lures. Always ready for any situation.

Well... theres been 20 rod days when I have used all 20.. and days I have brought along 3 and used only one.. boats faster with less gear... bring a cup drink lake water... (joking)

Hit the ramp tonight for a quick fish,....lol....2 trollers, 4 bait casters and 3 spinning rods.
