Hello. Newish to fishing and am not coming from walleye areas in Ontario. Nor are we specifically targeting them. We are used to large and smallmouths and pike!

Our boat isn't large (14 foot aluminium) but we were wondering if there were recommendations from you guys for locations or techniques for bass or pike (sure we can look at walleyes too but we are catch and release only so it would just be for fun). We are in the Baycrest Marina location on the Bay of Quinte at that time.

We also have a new Humminbird with down and side imaging. We would totally welcome a guide not only to help interpret the imaging but also to direct us to the fish. And of course we would compensate for time.

Anyone have any suggestions or friends they can call upon?

Thanks so much!

Kathy

Quinte is primarily largemouth bass here and they bite the usual baits as else where. Senkos, flipping jigs, worms, crankbaits topwater ect. Where you are staying has has fish around you in both directions east and west. Hope you have a good trip and catch lots of fish
