Brought the trailer to Smugglers Cove for a couple of nights. Our plan was to try and intercept the migrating walleye from the big lake before the entered the bay. We fished the first evening with no action. So we ended up eating steak that night. Headed out again early the next morning with nothing until about 10 am. We landed 9 walleye and stopped fishing by 3 pm. Our biggest was 11 lbs but most were between 7 to 9 lbs. Released the ladies. Image

We also fished a bit in the evening with good success also. We fished 70 to 80 fow using a spread of 6 lines. Depth of the lures ranged from 5 to 30 feet down. The hot lure of the day was the live target perch. The weather was terrible the next day so we slept in and slowly packed up and headed back home. Image
