Was out at the Batcave and caught 4 nice eyes but after the day we noticed a big sign at the ferry ramp stating that it was closing Nov 25th until Feb 27th and a row of 5 gallon pails of concrete sitting on the dock (56 to be exact). Anybody got an idea about what's going on.

Oh that’s awful. Worst timing to close the ramp too. Wish we had more usable launches around here for sure. Picton is far from kingston and then far from the gap.

Yes, the timing isn't the best for those who still want open water fish after Picton Bay Freezes up. However, closing it at this time of year probably affect the fewest number of users. I'm sure we will all appreciate it more after the repairs are done.
