Just read about the gent that lost the board but got it back and every year i read about the lost and found stuff during ice fishing season....I have my name and numbers on my boards (and my crank boxes) and twice now i have gotten them back so i have to wonder why more people don't have their names on their gear? A sharpie will do wonders

When the clerk asks me if I want a bag, I always say "no, it'll make my wife suspicious".

I will mark my boards though.

Thanks for the reminder.

Yes I know about marking planner boards with sharpie.

Also.
We should have a sticky topic Lost and Found in Tips and Tricks branch of this forum.
And gentlemen's agreement that if somebody found lost item then post you findings.
Some items may not have telephone # to call.

This way if you lost something in hard or soft water check our forum in few days.

Poster does not have to post picture, just brief description.
Example: Found fishing rod combo near Huff's road exit.
The boy who claims lost item should give more details about his valuable item.

Ideally we should organize few Lost and Found places near by.
Tackle stores may be willing to cooperate. It will bring more customers to them.
We can ask owners at Moons tackle in Deseronto, in Napanee and near Huff's road if they would cooperate.
Please explain them benefits of bringing more customers.
If some body came to pick up his stuff then he most likely to buy something else.

Let's be polite. The boy should come to pick his lost item ONLY when store is opened.
