Went to onerdonks neck of the woods for a short afternoon fish. Marked half a dozen fish and ended up with 2 dinks. The snow is gone off the ice and there is about 3-6" of slush. With the cold coming for the next few nights it should freeze everything up tight. The ice was 6".

Thanks Dan. Fishing that area next week. Might be the only chance we get to fish this winter. Gonna be on the edge of being safe by the looks of things.

Again Dan, sharing your information provides a great deal of assistance to those of us too far away to check for ourselves. Also, we all know that no-one is offering any guarantees and that "no ice is safe ice" also applies. It is just nice to have someone share what they observed so that we can make informed decisions as to where we may want to try or avoid.
Cheers.
