Point Anne was where I went this morning, a few small perch was all I found. Ice is hit and miss 3 1/2 inches where I was. I walked out from the west launch area, snap crackle and pop was all I heard. Fished straight out from the launch by the ruins and about 200 feet from the pressure crack. Had one zip crack go through my hole and I was taking quite surprised. The hole was in between my feet so my one foot was on one side of the crack and the other on the opposite side the vex was pretty well in the centre but across the hole from me. When the crack went through the pop was well pronounced and I swear the vex jump 2 inches. Kept on fishing for a few hours started back off the ice to find new cracks, not pressure cracks(eruptions) but cracks with a bit of a gap. The one area had 2 cracks about 30 inches apart and a bit of a gap we will say 1/4 inch apart with a bit of water skim in the areas. Went to cross and saw the ice bow, chicken maybe stupid not. I used my sled tub as a surfboard to cross.
