Planning my annual Quinte trip in a couple weeks. Plan to monitor the ice best I can through Quinte fishing.com before I go. You guys have never let me down in the past with ice info. Currently, is there fishable ice at Huffs/Reach Area? Thanks in advance for all your help.

The fact that nobody is saying anything, means that there is ice and people are fishing

I was at Huffs today...counted 26 huts in the morning!...there is not much ice at all at least where I was out in middle somewhere...between 3 and 4" with half being good clear ice and other half white ice

I fished the cables tonight. Yes huffs very busy place. There is a god awful pressure crack that actually looks like the ice sunk that runs down the bay about 300 yards than cuts back to shore. We fish on the outside of it tonight on 3”. Pm me if you wish.

Thank you all for your posts. My cousin and I are coming up on the 14th for five days to try it. Hopefully it builds a bit.

It is going down to minus 17 tonight and tomorrow night, and cold nights are in the forecast for the next week. Looks promising.
