Sorry fella, one more quick question for you. Haven't been out on the bay yet this year and after reading most of the posts about ice conditions is it fair to say that it is not a good idea to take a machine on the ice there?

Nice to see some walleye caught. Was there Monday on 5 inches mixed ice. Slush should be hard now for an easy walk, I'm not ready to take my quad quite yet. Walleye were scarce, 7 guys, 1 walleye, but lots of perch with 1 in 10 a jumbo. One eater walleye on camera hung around but wasn't interested.

Yesterday afternoon my fishing partner went to the church around 3pm. Marked 3-4 fish and then at 4pm a dark mark soared up the sonar . Little rusty, dropped phone onto the ice, set hook, dropped rod, picked up and fish still on. 8.5 lb on boga grip, 20’ft on green buckshot. Good release. Others in group got 7 jumbo perch and one small walleye. 6-7 inches white ice.
