Quinte Fishing

Going out Thurs or Fri, wondering the ice thickness at these location's. Also, is their a place you can pick up minnows on the church side ? Coming from Kingston.

I was at the church yesterday (Feb4th). There was about 8 inches of ice and a few people were driving quads about. Pop up huts were visible at Thompson point. Huffs and most places near Long Reach have way more current than near the church and I would guess that ice would be kinda dicey in those areas. As for fishing, I kept 3 good perch but no wallys. One guy at the parking lot had one eater walleye and a mess of perch.

Thanks for the info, Huffs will have to wait till next season. Old church it will be.

Not positive, but Brown Bear on Development Drive should carry minnows in Kingston.

Brown Bear has minnows and he's quite generous on the counts.
