I keep watch for someone to post a positive report from the Hay Bay Area. I’m about 2 hours away and don’t wanna make a trek down unless the fall frenzy has started. Any info. would be appreciated.

Making the 5.5 hour trip this Friday to the Hay Bay Area. I will post information, good or bad. Hoping that the weather cooperates. I saw on some weather sites that Friday is supposed to be very windy and Saturday and Sunday might be cooperative weatherwise.

I was out to Hay Bay on Saturday to take the dock out and saw several boats, one was trolling the shoal in front of Bayview on Hay Bay, didn't see anything happen, but they were there.

Talked to the Camp ground owner who told me that some of the cottagers had hot some 3lbers the week before. He also told me that some of the fishers had marked a LOT of fish at the mouth of Hay Bay and Long Reach but couldn't get them to hit.

The water is down considerably in comparison to the summer levels.
