If anyone goes to huffs this Friday before this weekend, an ice report would be appreciated.

Ice is still sketchy but there were 5 fishermen out there today, one even got as far as the channel. One guy told me he spudded through in a couple spots getting to the middle.

Was there friday and yes there are some soft spots to watch for ...just spud lots and you can almost hear what is good ice and what is bad.....am back out today and it seems a bit better after last night cold
Also current seems pretty much dead all day friday and so far today which is good
