Took a drive up around south shore around 1pm today checking ice and any open spots lower hay-bay has a few spots open around youngs island (nut island) north side of Pickrell park as well...few holes open between pickrell park and rams island down threw the narrows and rams island has open water around south east side...checked the chruch looks good still lots of ice...my concern is there was nasty pressure crack west of the launch apportimely 200 yards up coming from north to south 3/4 quarters of the way strait across when we were there on Sunday... the warm weather Monday and Tuesday it’s mealted away you can’t see any open water but the ice will be very sketchey at this pressure crack so proceed with extra caution if you are heading out for the last 3 days of walleye fishing...willows point still looked good and Sherman’s point but lots pressure crack at Sherman’s this year so be careful we have very strong winds around the bath and napanee area today and hardly no snow on the ice it’s getting cold to night so it will be easy walking it will be slippy so wear Spikes also I do recommend waiting until tomorrow after noon if your going to venture out on the bay winds will be a lot less
