Quinte Fishing

Looking for good shore spot for my 6 year old to catch some perch want to avoid him getting bored and keep him interested.

Anyone willing to share spots?

Beaver Lake Lions park is a good kids spot for shore fishing.
Sunfish and perch but no keepers. Just fun fishing.
All the amenities are blocked off. I haven't seen anything online about the park being closed.
Might be worth a call to the Stone Mills Township Office to be sure.

I should have said keepers aren't likely.
It's fishing so you never know.

I've checked Stone Mills site and their is nothing in their about launches being closed, only provincial and municipal parks. The launch is close to the Lion's park, but you could park behind the tavern. Lots of area to fish from shore and still not be in the park.
