I live a few blocks to the Collins Bay Launch. I am wondering nearby spots on the lake that may work for Laketrout and pickerel. I have downriggers, but not sure where to go. Some suggested Simcoe Island. I have a deep and wide 16 ft so I need to pick my days. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Yup out by simcoe or the shoals around there including brother islands. Lakers are everywhere right now but will head deep soon as water warms.

Walleye are tricky to catch from now till August then it gets better.

The walleye fishing out immediately south oh airport will be good for the next several weeks. Evening trolling of 5" stick baits (smithwick rogues) in 8 to 15 fow will do the trick. There is a good population of shoal spawners in that area.

Before the Commerants the 3Brother Islands were a go to location.

The old DuPont shoal is still good as is the gap north of Wolfe Island
