We just picked up a couple of drift controls for the boat. I am hopefully going out to give them a try this weeked. We have never been able to get this boat slow enough to troll before, so hopefully this will do the trick. What speed/depth combinations do find to be producing right now? I will be using offshore boards as well. Thanks...

The eyes have been on really good lately. It seems they are everywhere. I picked up a line counter a few years ago and I am getting them suspended at 8-9 feet behind a planer board. speed is from 1.2 to 1.5.
I have also got a few long line at 12-13 feet.
Good luck

Thanks Sheldon. What type of bait are you using, if you don't mind me asking. Is it a deep diving crankbait? I am just curious as to what depth that line length would actually be running.

It depends on the bait you are using. Each lure runs differently at different depths. They have been hitting on all colours but run the cc shad at 68 feet behind the board and you should be OK.
