I've been fishing Knowlton now for weeks. The Bass have not been abundant but we've landed a few and a couple beauties. My son caught a nice Smallie just shy of the 4lb mark. The strange thing is we have not landed any Pike yet. No sign of them anywhere. This is strange. Can anybody here vouch for Pike in this lake?
I'm finding the lake a little frustrating and not meeting expectations to be honest.

that lake has a healthy lake trout population. get a pair of downriggers and expand your options?

Lakers are part of the plan for sure. Downriggers will need to wait a while longer , hopefully by the end of summer.
I've spent a little time trying to jig but no luck so far.
In the mean time, a few gators every once a while will keep things interesting. I'm surprised there hasn't been any signs of them yet.
When the Bass are tough to catch I take my son to a couple of gullies close by and we have fun for an hour two catching all we can handle. They're smaller but its great practice for him.
