Just three more days to go. Come on Saturday. The worst part for me is that I'm getting a wack of bass tackle in and having to recieve it is killing me when I see it and I cant go fishing yet. But I will wait it out. Juast thought I would take this time to wish everyone a great season and a safe one. Plus we now have been open for just a little over a year now and my wife and I would like to say {from the bottom of our hearts} thankyou to all, for your patience and fantastic support. We have met a lot of very nice and very kind people and we have found that this community and the surrounding area have got some of the greatist people we have ever met in our lives. We are growing slowly and if it was'nt for the local support we probably would not be here. We both wish that we could afford something to show more of our appreciation but at this time we need evry nickle and penny we can get so we can continue to grow and have better and more of the demands we hear every day. So Again from both of us Thankyou Belleville and surrounding areas and God bless all of you and your families. Have a safe and totaly kooool summer.
June and Ron Skevington

yes, it's great to finally have a shop here so dedicated to fishing of all kinds, and being that I'm a fly fisher and so is Ron, this is where I go for my fly fishing needs for now on (instead of ordering online from the states, yikes !!)
He knows what we need as far as tying materials for the quinte area.

It's nice to buy fishing lures and equipment from somebody who actually knows what they are talking about. Plus I like to visit from time to time and discuss fishing holes, techniques and other fish talk. thanx skevy!

Indeed, where is your shop? I like to support the folks who support these sites.

His shop is on Hwy 2 just East of the Hwy 62 bridge leading into Prince Edward County. If you see the Tim Horton's you are passing the shop.

I go to skevy's almost everytime i go to the bay. and i fish the other end.

the prices are good. he knows what he's talking about.

I have only been in the shop maybe 5 times since January ( I live in Guelph so thats not bad) . and he seems to know everyone who is in there and has a real good rapport with his customers.

All I can say is 14 Walleye using Skevy's recommendations. This is not on the bay, but further north. His Quinte comments have work as well.
