I was fishing east of the Glenora ferry and was marking fish on the bottom in 90 feet of water. Lake trout maybe?? We stopped and dropped some worms down just for shoots and giggles. Any thoughts on what they are?

I would say they were big marks. And sorry, but I don't know what a "sharpie' is. :(

Ohhhhh. I was thinking it was a slang term for something.

I didn't realize that they went that deep. May have to bring out the downriggers next time out just to see.

Thanks!

Could even be salmon coming in. Moira has a run and have heard Napanee is getting a bunch in the last while.

I've been watching Riverwatch Ganaraska for a week now. No huge numbers running through the ladder but some kings every day.

My guess if they are stacked they would be Sheepshead...but single marks on the bottom, walleye or Laker?
Either way , a blast to drag in ....lol

Probably 5 or 6 years ago fishing East of the ferry every tips we marked fish down 90-100 feet in 120 foot water, we brought the riggers one trip and ran them deep with spoons.... after catching several sheephead and big silver bass, no walleye, no trout, we gave up on the riggers.
