I've been reading posts for the last few years from some of the regulars like woodpecker, Bobv75, big mac, superdad, among others. I always enjoy reading about their trips but I've never contributed so I thought I should start. Bobv75, DanElliot, and BigMac especially have impressed me with their variety of catches throughout the year.

The past couple of years I've been fishing for pike out of Waupoos in the fall. I went last Saturday and it turned out to be an all right day in the end, not many fish but bigger than average. It was a rough start as I casted around usual points for a couple of hours with nothing. The wind died down so I headed away from the island and trolled for a couple of hours in 20+ feet of water. Ended up with 4 pike (36" the biggest) and a bonus walleye (28"). All on deep diving reef runners.

The fall weekend trips start!

Nice bonus eye. That’s a good fish for sure. We are blessed with some great multi species action at this end of the lake

That's a good area to hunt those pike, Lots of them over there.

Bonus walleye is always good.

Thanks for sharing

Your on the right track. Keep at it. The fall pike fishing only gets better from here. Big baits work really well, 8 to 10 inch Muskie lures do some major damage later in the fall. Image

Thanks for the mention, mserviss!

Please permit us to make one teensy correction for your post?

Our handle's NOT Woodpecker, it's WORDpecker. (Don't feel bad, we even had to correct Dan!)~

Rgds, Wordpecker

Hope to see you out there soon! We fished around each other last year. I have a new boat this year so trolling is now an option!
