Is the launch in Long Point Harbour decent to launch at? I am thinking that may be even closer to the fish than Waupoos.....

Exactly... leave it to man to f things up.
You're telling me we can't keep it at a consistant level?
Personally I think the IJC will swing it the other way and draw down extremely low this year because of all he flack from 2017, 2019.

Man has been in control of the water levels far longer than any of those ramps have existed.
The ramps are designed for summer peak season.
The ones you've mentioned are also free to use. If you want better go to the marina and pay$25...

Pics didn't turn out, but fact is that I could not launch my 20 ft boat. Rear axle totally clear of ramp, front axel right at point of falling off edge. Tried to unload under power but no can do.

I guess all those dollars I was going to spend in county over the next 10 weeks will stay in my pocket, sadly.

Or launch in picton. Always useable during all water level conditions. Typically glenora ferry ramp is also.

I found the glenora ramp unusable. Due to power loading at high water season there is a huge hole at the end of the ramp that if you fell into would be hard to get out of. However, I found that the Picton marina ramp, though costly ($20), was amazing. I don't think the water could get low enough for it to become unusable. Also, I was able to launch my 176 Stratos yeterday (Sept. 27) at the old haybay church launch. My trailer fell off the pad on the launch, but reloading I was able to stay on the pad and crank the boat onto its bunks. My car is only a 4cyl car and the boat is 2000lbs, if I can use these ramps I would assume most people can.

The Picton Marina Launch is awesome! you should have no trouble launching and pulling out your boat there!

Gone Fish'n

Lol. It's not the best scenario for sure. The boat motor and trailer combined are 2000lbs, not the the boat alone, however the car does do it. I only live 5 kms from the haybay church launch though.
