Lots of boats. Counted around 38 where I was and lots more when I was driving down. Water around 48C. Saw one pulled in, pretty slow.

Most marking around 50ft, whatever they are.
Trolled a few loops, batcave to Prinyers. Nothing
Set up on a shoal, marking fish. Tried jigging and drop shot.
Nothing.

I thought 3rd time out would be the charm. Not so.
Hope someone doesn't hop on an say they were pounding them. That would be depressing.

Makes me wonder if a CIL wobbler would work?

Slow day for us too. Boated 2 smaller ones (24-26”) in the same area you were.

Fish were being caught but nobody I know pounded them.

Crazy temps are still 48 eh, a few years ago picton harbour was frozen solid by now.

We’ll have open water in the reach till January almost for sure.

Nice to get fish. It is warm. Few years back the beaver ponds were froze second week of November.
Be interesting to see what December brings.

The smallies were very cooperative today. Numerous 3-4 lbers with a handful over 5lbs and this piggy that weighed in at 6.39lbs. Tubes and drop shots in the 25-40' depth. Temp is sitting at 45

To Les’ point - most we’re still around that 40-50’ and deeper.

Fortunately for us, the ones I posted in my Nov 27 report, were up enough to be in our wheelhouse and were willing participants.

Thanks for your report. I feel for ya! 3 times out without a fish to hold up, I'm sure that's disappointing! The often elusive Bay of Quinte Walleye. It sounds like it's been pretty dead for most people with only the odd fish being caught! It's taking the water so long to cool down to a good temperature this year. Depending on the day these Bay Pickerel can be a fickle B**ch! I was out a week and a half ago and stuck out! Hopefully they turn on better soon! I'm done for the season, I put the boat in the barn last Sunday!
