Guys,

Over the last 2-3 years many shelter manufacturers have introduced side entrances to their flip over shacks. Mostly on the 2 and 3 man shelters. Check out flip overs from Frabill, Clam, Eskimo and Otter.

This year I upgraded to an Otter flip over. Looking forward to trying it out in 2021, or sooner.

Otter you didn’t go wrong in buy one of them they have some of the best reviews on the market for portable ice shelters... my guess some where around 20th January before we have safe ice for quinte gold

We have a slim chance the next four Days might get'r done, IF nothing changes, and no snow comes.

Changes in the Weather Forecast? Nah, that never happens... (joke)

I purchased a used Frabill predator two-man flip over very similar to yours with the side step doors. Just by sitting in it in my garage I know that I am going to love it and have plenty of room for everything I need. I would say the only downfall that I can see right now is that it is considerably heavier than my last one.

106lb ice hunter 285 weighs if you’re walking you defiantly need to be mindful of the weight when it comes to portable ice shelters sometimes its best with just the single man a lot of nice single man shelters on the market

Deepfriedwalleye,

Here is a picture of the Otter Cottage X-Over Pro. It is smaller but similar to your Frabill. The Otter also has side doors. It also has a front door and a small rear door. It is a one man with fully insulated 1200 denier covering. I am also hoping to get it on the ice in the next couple weeks.
