Folks I have a small hole in the hull from hitting a floating board last spring, anyone with some advice on this fix or where to go?

Appreciate your help.

K,

If your hole is small you could use JB Marine Weld. It’s an epoxy that may fill your hole. It bonds well and is almost rock hard. It can still be sanded and painted the colour of your hull. It is dark grey in colour before painting. Maybe you could post a picture of your boat damage.

How small? Where on the hull? Marine epoxy if it's small. Aluminum solder if it's small/med. Rivet a patch if large.

I've got some aluminum solder rods similar to this https://www.amazon.com/Simple-Welding-R ... 704&sr=8-5

I've actually patched some pretty decent prop bites with that stuff. If you can solder, you can handle this stuff.

Thanks guys, the hole while small is at the bow and meets the water when the boat is on plane. The area takes full brunt of the water pressure when you are under way. I will take it into the Prop Shop in the spring for a good fix.

I am a big fan of the JB Weld product line though!
