Hey guys new to this thread and new to Quinte as well. Been researching the snot out of it and seems to be a theme of no info on locations. I can totally understand that. From what I can tell there are the obvious community spots that are heavily pressured and then other specific places that make it more likely to hook into a big girl? I'm planning a trip Feb 18 and some lake access points would be awesome to know. Assuming trenton and belville have a public place but I also saw Sherman's launch in hay bay and anything in picton area? Or Deseronto? Any little bit helps thanks fellas

Look down two posts. Or check the tips and tricks section of the home page. Assume nothing with regards to ice safety though. Just because its 6" here doesn't mean its not 2" over there. And just because there's 6 guys over there doesn't mean the ice between you and them is safe. Spud, spud, spud.

Welcome aboard. Grab a drink and start reading. The forum search function is your friend. As Chuck pointed out always check your ice and good luck out there

Ya just saw that thanks for pointing it out. Thats awesome. If we wanna just focus on a trophy fish are there any pointers for choosing a locations or kinda find an area with structure nearby and cross your fingers. All catch and release
